Are you passionate about wildlife and interested in a career with animals, conservation or the environment?
Join our experts for the 2025 Careers Expo at Melbourne Zoo. This event is recommended for students in Years 9-12 who are interested in exploring different careers in the world of wildlife, conservation, environment, animal welfare, and more.
Parents/guardians wishing to attend the event with their child will be required to purchase a ticket. Only one parent/guardian per child may attend.
Presentations
Hear from expert panel speakers, including a diverse range of zoo specialists, who will share advice and insights into their career pathways.
Attendees will have exclusive access to all presentations on the days they attend.
Each day features a unique presenter schedule with different speakers and topics.

Exhibitor Information
Connect with leading scientific, conservation, and education organisations to discover a wide range of programs, courses, and career pathways available to young people.
Exhibitors will be available throughout the entire day, including during presentation sessions. This means you can explore stalls, ask questions, and collect resources at your own pace—whenever it suits you during the event.

Important Information:
- Tickets are non-refundable.
- The zoo prioritises animal welfare and wellbeing, so attendees will not be able to touch or hold any animals during this event.
- This is an outdoor all-weather program; the attendees will need appropriate clothing for weather conditions. This could include a raincoat, hat and sun protection.
- Attendees need to bring their own food and drink bottle.
- There are some activities within the zoo grounds where attendees will not be under the direct supervision of a staff member.
- The attendees are to remain in the zoo grounds.
- Attendees are responsible for providing and carrying with them any personal medication. First aid will be provided by a qualified Zoos Victoria First Aid Officer.
