Minimum age 8.

Participants aged 8-12 are required to attend with a paying adult.

Ratio of 1 adult per 3 children, 2 adults per 4 children. Children aged 13+ do not require adult supervision.

Enclosed shoes must be worn.

For safety, please notify your host on the day if you have a reptile or snake at home.

Not accessible for people with mobility requirements.

Enjoy an experience like no other with these incredible cold-blooded animals.

Fans of scales and fangs, enjoy a private experience in the inner sanctum of the Reptile House.

Join your host and expert Reptile keeper for a behind the scenes tour of our Reptile House. You will see some of the amazing snake, tortoise and lizard species that call it home (this may vary depending on the day), all whilst learning about how our keepers provide for each reptiles’ unique requirements.

You will also learn about how your experience contributes to helping our Fighting Extinction species, including the Grassland Earless Dragon and the Southern Corroboree Frog.

Each experience will be unique, allowing our keepers to let the individual animals shine and give them the choice and control on how they participate.

Please note that, for Animal Welfare reasons, physical contact with the reptiles is not permitted during this experience.

Zoo entry not included. Book your entry tickets for the same date as your behind the scenes.
